A Day at Shopping Centre Oasis Maspalomas – Blue Sky Shops, Bars & Restaurants

Today we decided to spend some time in one of Maspalomas’ most recognizable spots: the Oasis Maspalomas Shopping Centre. Nestled right next to the famous Faro de Maspalomas and the Atlantic Ocean, this shopping centre has been welcoming visitors for decades, and it still keeps its charm.

As soon as we arrived, the contrast between the bright blue sky above and the lively atmosphere around the shops caught our attention. The whole area feels like a meeting point for both tourists and locals – a place where shopping, dining, and relaxing come together.

Walking through the centre, we found a wide variety of shops, ranging from souvenir stands with colourful trinkets and postcards, to fashion boutiques offering beachwear, summer dresses, and accessories. The vibe was casual, easy-going, and perfect for those who want to enjoy a day without rushing.

What stood out most was the abundance of bars and restaurants. Almost every corner had a terrace filled with people sipping cold drinks, enjoying tapas, or sharing laughter under the sun. The smell of fresh seafood and grilled meat drifted through the air, mixing with the inviting aromas of international cuisine. Whether you’re craving traditional Canarian dishes, Italian pizza, or just a quick coffee with a sweet treat, Oasis Maspalomas offers plenty of options.

We took some time to wander around, noticing how the atmosphere changed from one side of the shopping centre to the other. On one side, families with children enjoyed ice creams and snacks, while on the other side, couples lingered over glasses of wine with views of the Faro Maspalomas promenade.

The best part of the visit was simply the relaxed mood. With the sun shining down, palm trees swaying gently, and people enjoying life in the open air, Oasis Maspalomas felt like more than just a shopping destination – it felt like a small piece of holiday spirit.

After exploring the shops and watching the lively scene in the bars, we sat down ourselves, ordering refreshing drinks and letting the day unfold slowly. It’s one of those places where time doesn’t seem to matter, and you can simply soak in the atmosphere of Gran Canaria.

Whether you come here for shopping, dining, or just for a pleasant stroll, Oasis Maspalomas is a place that reflects the island’s mix of leisure, culture, and sunshine.
